I am a Visual Artist, Educator and Curator. My practice is currently centred on socially engaged and collaborative approaches. What interests me is how visual art can be used to improve individual and collective health, and serve to empower communities as a form of social action. This means I work closely with grass-roots organisations, charities, community interest companies, and health-care providers to explore ideas of wellbeing, identity, memory, place, and legacy.
My practice uses collaborative and embodied methods of creating, with photography (traditional and digital processes) and film (the moving image) as a starting point. Projects may then expand to include creative writing, zines, installations, exhibitions or other forms of publication depending on the needs of the project and the community.
I also provide creative services to SME and entrepreneurs that wish to authentically and ethically promote their brand in a way that is aligned with their values, without compromising on quality.
